“Meditation has transformed my entire headspace, literally re-wiring my brain and carving out new neural pathways along the way. It has delivered me from a life entangled with depression and confined by anxiety to one of true freedom and happiness. I love nothing more than sharing and teaching the transformative practice of meditation with others.” ~ Jordan
Jillian Owens, APRN, FNP-C
Jillian Owens is the owner and founder of Infinite Wellness. Jillian is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. She graduated with honors from University of Maryland in 2004 with a BSN. She then went on to become an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, graduating from Frontier Nursing University Summa Cum Laude in 2020.
Throughout her career, Jillian has worked across multiple healthcare fields, including obstetrics, critical care, emergency medicine, and primary care. Her unwavering passion for patient care has always been at the forefront of her practice. However, as she gained experience in conventional medicine, Jillian began to feel limited by its approach and was disheartened by the lack of progress she saw in her patients.
Jillian was inspired to explore new, innovative approaches to healthcare, leading her to discover functional medicine. This approach goes beyond simply treating symptoms and aims to identify the root cause of health issues, with a focus on restoring balance to the body. It resonated deeply with her values and her belief in the innate wisdom of the human body. Jillian immersed herself in this field by attending conferences, seeking mentorship, and investing in coursework, becoming further convinced that it was a powerful way to treat disease and optimize wellness.
Jillian’s passion for functional medicine extends beyond her professional life and has a personal connection as well. Like many of her patients, she had been grappling with troublesome symptoms for years. Conventional medicine failed to provide her with the answers or clarity. It wasn’t until she discovered functional medicine and bioidentical hormone replacement that she finally found the answers she’d been seeking. This experience fueled her commitment to providing compassionate care to others so they can take control of their own health journeys.
Jillian’s approach to healthcare is holistic, patient-centered, and rooted in the latest scientific research. She combines her deep knowledge of conventional medicine with natural therapies to create personalized treatment plans that address her patients’ unique needs and goals. Through thoughtful listening and collaboration, she empowers her patients with the tools they need to take charge of their health and achieve optimal wellness.
